I attended your workshop at the 2018 California Kindergarten Conference and purchased GAME-SET-MATH. Let me tell you – my kids ask every day if we can use them that day. Who knew that such a simple everyday item would be such a hit? Thank you for all the wonderful ideas that I got from your workshop!.
— Maria V. (Pre-K, California)
GAME-SET-MATH is the greatest concept of learning through play! Who can resist wanting to work with numbers when they’re stuck to neon green tennis balls! What I love most is that it is so easy to address many Kindergarten common core math standards through simple games that are fun to play in small math groups or large circle time groups. As an international trainer to preschools and kindergartens in Vietnam and China, GAME-SET-MATH provided me with a unique and outstanding tool that all children universally love and understand.
— Dr. Nancy (Ed.D, Educational consultant, teacher, & trainer, San Francisco, CA)
I used GAME-SET-MATH with my Kindergartner, but it turns out the whole family wanted to play! The 3rd and 2nd grader practiced quick mental math, by either adding or multiplying whichever two numbers (balls) they chose out of the bag; the Kindergartener worked on number sequencing and simple addition, while the 3 year old played catch with me and did number recognition. Even the Baby played, chewing and chasing the balls around the living room! There are so many different ways to use the GAME-SET-MATH balls – this was a fun addition to our math portion of the school day!
— Sarah S. (Homeschooling Momma of 5, California)
What I really like about GAME-SET-MATH is that it is so hands-on and there so many interesting ways to use it – with large groups, small groups or individual students. I feel it is a valuable classroom tool that reinforces important math concepts for any primary grade.
— Wendy B. (Kindergarten/First Grade, Arizona)
The one thing I noticed right away about the GAME-SET-MATH balls is that you cannot take your eyes off them when they are sitting on the chalk rail. Something about the shape, color and it’s a BALL! Who does not like playing with BALL?
— Paul R. (Bilingual Coordinator, California)
GSM is innovative and great fun for my students! Being in a bilingual classroom, the number line is perfect for practicing our numbers in both English and Spanish as well as transitioning in and out of the classroom. It has many applications from counting to comparing numbers to addition/subtraction. GSM is an essential part of my classroom and my kids’ eyes light up every time we use the balls!
